Facial mesotherapy

Mesotherapy is a technique used in aesthetic medicine to restore and revitalise the skin. This treatment intensively moisturizes, enriches with variety of substances, restores the elasticity, skin tone, and radiance of the skin.

About the procedure

Mesotherapy involves the use of small needles to micro-inject various mixtures of active ingredients into the upper layers of the skin. Biologically active agents also called “beauty cocktails” reach the 0.5 to 1.0 mm depth and directly affect the corrective zones. This treatment method activates the production of collagen and elastin, and skin becomes firmer and more resilient. Mesotherapy procedures for the face are recognised as one of the most effective ways to treat skin problems. After the first procedure, the skin’s colour and tone improve as well as the spontaneous stimulation of cellular regeneration, resulting in the smoothing of fine lines, the normalisation of the sebaceous glands, and the reduction of vascular star formation. As the walls of the blood vessels are also strengthened, the skin acquires a remarkable inner radiance.

Through microinjections not only hyaluronic acid, but also vitamins, minerals and antioxidants are injected into the skin during mesotherapy treatment. These agents stimulate cells that are responsible for collagen production – elastin, which is responsible for skin elasticity; and matrix in between the cells, which protects the skin from the damaging effects of free radicals. Mesotherapy is performed several times depending on the condition of the skin and client’s needs. Mesotherapy can help moisturize the skin quickly and permanently, even when the skin is dehydrated.

Dual-Effect Procedure
Our dual-effect mesotherapy treatment combines hyaluronic acid with vitamins, peptides, amino acids, and a small dose of botulinum toxin for a highly effective skin rejuvenation experience.

This advanced combination therapy is not only beneficial for facial skin but can also be applied to the scalp to improve hair quality. It helps to nourish hair follicles, promoting healthier, stronger hair growth. Here’s what you can expect:

  • Reduction of Fine Lines: Smooths out facial expression lines.
  • Improved Skin Tone and Color: Promotes a healthier and more even complexion.
  • Enhanced Cellular Regeneration: Boosts the skin’s natural regeneration process.
  • Deep Hydration: Ensures intense and lasting moisture.
  • Reduced Redness: Calms and soothes skin prone to redness.
  • Improved Hair Quality: Nourishes hair follicles, leading to stronger, shinier hair.

Results become fully visible approximately two weeks after treatment. The skin will appear radiant and well-hydrated, providing a fresh, natural look. This transformation allows you to enjoy the effects without drawing unwanted attention—”Everyone will notice, but no one will know.”

For scalp treatment, it helps to rejuvenate hair follicles, potentially leading to thicker hair and reduced hair loss. To maintain these benefits, we recommend repeating the treatment every 4-6 months.

The specialist performs a comprehensive skin analysis to determine its condition and decide on the most suitable composition for the beauty cocktail. Before the procedure, the skin is cleansed, thoroughly disinfected, and then the mesotherapy session begins.

During the mesotherapy procedure, very fine needles are used to gently puncture the skin, allowing the ingredients of the beauty cocktail to be evenly distributed. Each tiny puncture delivers a small amount of the product into the skin. The technique used for these injections can vary based on factors such as the skin’s age, condition, and sensitivity. For example, finer needles might be chosen for sensitive skin, while thicker needles or more intense methods could be used for skin with more noticeable signs of aging.

Mesotherapy is generally a low-pain procedure, but you might experience some skin redness afterward, which typically disappears within a few hours, though in rare cases, it can last up to 24 hours. Allergic reactions are infrequent. Most patients can resume their regular activities immediately after the procedure, but certain precautions should be taken, such as avoiding direct sunlight, tanning beds, saunas, and alcohol consumption for a while. There’s also a slight chance of small bruises (about the size of a pea) at the injection sites, but these tend to heal quickly and can be easily covered with makeup.

The risk of adverse effects is typically associated with underqualified practitioners or the use of unsuitable or uncertified mesotherapy products. However, at “Sapiegos Clinic,” you don’t have to worry about this because our mesotherapy procedures are performed by qualified specialists, and the FILORGA mesotherapy products we use are CE-certified, meeting the strictest clinical standards.
