Redermalisation is a unique injectable procedure to improve the quality of the skin by injecting a combination of amber and hyaluronic acids into the skin using a papule technique. Studies have shown that the interaction of these two active substances, which are naturally found in human skin, gives better results in improving skin quality than hyaluronic acid mono-products.
The Redermalization treatment was awarded the Best Skin Quality Improvement Treatment at the “AMEC Live and Visage” Congress 2017.
About the procedure
Succinic acid is a natural substance in the human body that is responsible for cellular energy. It regulates biochemical and physiological processes in cells, acts as a powerful antioxidant, inhibits inflammatory processes and improves microcirculation.
Hyaluronic acid perfectly moisturises the skin and provides comprehensive protection against photo-ageing and external factors. Together, these components are three times more effective on fibroblasts, reinforcing each other’s effects.
The Redermalization treatment improves the skin’s elasticity and moisture levels, evens out skin tone, reduces wrinkles and age spots.
Why choose it?
- This procedure does not cause any complications as both amber and hyaluronic acid are naturally produced in the human body.
- Redermalization is well compatible with treatments such as biorevitalization, mesotherapy, PRP, radiofrequency procedures.
- Redermalization is recommended for people of all ages: it is ideal both as a preventive measure and as a skin rejuvenation procedure for more mature skin.
Am I a suitable candidate?
Numerous studies around the world, as well as the personal experience of doctors, confirm that succinic acid products are effective in treating skin problems such as:
- oily, porous skin,
- signs of fatigue, ageing.
Treatments are not available for pregnant and lactating women, people with autoimmune diseases, active herpes or other infectious skin diseases.
Before the procedure
During the procedure
After the procedure
No special preparation is needed for the procedure, but it is advisable not to overheat in the sun or sunbathing, and not to take certain medications that may have an effect during the procedure (blood thinners, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) – if you are taking any of these, please warn a specialist).
Inject 1-2 ml of the product into the upper layers of the skin with a fine needle in small amounts. A superficial intradermal injection technique is used where the product is injected between the epidermis and the dermis at a depth of approximately 1-2 mm. As soon as the product is injected, a small papule is formed on the surface of the skin.
The procedure lasts between 30 and 60 minutes, depending on the volume. The injection areas can be anaesthetised if necessary.
During the first few hours, the skin may be red and slightly swollen – this is a normal reaction that will subside within a few hours. There may be some bruising. The papules that appear at the injection sites may persist for up to several days.
After the procedure, direct sunlight and sunbathing should be avoided for some time (usually up to a week). The specialists at Sapiega Clinic will provide you with all the information you need about home skin care.
