Laser photorejuvenation of the skin
The term photorejuvenation is understood as the improvement of the skin structure (lifting, pore contraction), pigmentation reduction and elimination of fine lines. This new generation laser treatment is designed to instantly revitalize the skin, smooth out fine lines and reduce the signs of aging.
Laser photorejuvenation of the skin is perfect for women who do not have time before an important event or a celebration, but want to look flawless. The facial rejuvenation procedure performed with the German-quality laser “MeDioStar NeXT” is painless, non-invasive, doesn’t require any healing period, is carried out quickly, therefore, unlike after beauty injections or fractional procedures, lets you immediately return to your usual schedule. This treatment is usually performed onface, neck, décolletage and hand areas.
About the procedure
Non-invasive laser skin rejuvenation is perfect for those seeking instantly eliminate skin changes caused by the sun or aging, reduce wrinkles, and improve skin firmness.
Laser light penetrates through epidermis and performs micro-thermal damage deep in the skin, while the upper layer of the skin remains intact. Laser intervention like this provokes the skin to produce new collagen and elastin fibers, that is why stimulated skin becomes smoother, brighter, healthier and more resistant to environmental effects.
Am I the right candidate?
Laser skin rejuvenation is suitable for those who are struggling with facial skin lesions, like: wilted, dull skin, fine lines, big pores and marks after pimples.

After the procedure
It is recommended to avoid UV rays for at least 4 weeks on the areas that will be treated (no sun exposure / solarium).
Inform your doctor if you are taking photosensitizing drugs: retinoids, doxycycline, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory agents, estrogens and progestins (oral contraceptives), anti-fungal drugs.
Areas that are going to be treated are thoroughly cleaned and prepared for the treatment. Generated high intensity laser beam is directed to the affected area. It deeply penetrates into the skin through the surface layers and causes appropriate thermal healing effect on the deeper layers. Strong light pulse is directed to the treated area while the contact surface is not exposed to the laser heat. Damaged melanin (skin pigment) is reabsorbed by lymphatic system, and specific skin cells are stimulated, leading to production of new collagen. At the end of the procedure the skin is cleaned once again, then gently dried and a special cream is applied.
You should avoid the sun exposure and intensive sun (solarium) without sunscreen on treated areas for at least 6 weeks. Use sunscreen (not less than SPF 50) if you have to be outdoors.
The treatment procedure is never without a risk. The most common side effects of this treatment:
Depending on the amount of damage – skin redness, swelling and/or sensible heat feeling can appear after the treatment. Crusts or vesicles can appear, which can not be manipulated;
Sometimes lesions in pigmentation can appear (damaged skin brightens or darkens in the treated areas), but it usually takes a few weeks to several months.
